ANTI-CORRUPTION POLICY

We work actively to prevent cases of corruption both amongst our partners and amongst ourselves.

We acknowledge our responsibility to oppose any case of corruption so that funds administered by us are administered according to their purpose and with the highest possible degree of transparency. The Anti-Corruption Policy applies to all volunteers, employees, managers and boards of both the DFPA and of our partners.

Anti-corruption is a crosscutting priority, especially with regard to our international programme.

The anti-corruption policy was implemented in 2011 in line with IPPF standards, both internally within the organisation and in collaboration with partners in order to support them in creating their own policy and complaints mechanisms.

This is a requirement for all our partners together with a zero tolerance policy against financial mismanagement.

How to report suspicions of corruption

If you suspect that an incident of corruption has taken place, please fill out this form and forward it to complaint@sexogsamfund.dk.

We have a standing anti-corruption committee, which receives forwarded reports of corruption. The committee consists of two employees, appointed by the liaisons committee, and a member of the Board representing and appointed by the Board. Based on the reported complaints, the committee evaluates whether an investigation committee should be appointed.

The Chairman of the Board, senior management and employees with access to finances and payments cannot sit on the anti-corruption committee.

The reported complaints will be treated confidentially and with consideration for the person making the report and the person(s) or organisations about which there is suspicion. Anonymous reports are not accepted. All cases of corruption must be reported to the standing anti-corruption committee, including cases which have been investigated locally in a partner country or cases which contain a risk to personal safety.
